Lethal Obsession going wide -- reborn all over the web!

My debut novel, LETHAL OBSESSION, has been reborn, with a new cover, tighter editing and writing, but the same arousing, blood-chilling story of Detective Angela Martin, who becomes involved with a man she meets through a Craigslist personal ad.

A man who she begins to fall for.

A man who enjoys controlling her, tying and tormenting her.

A man who brings a sense of desire, longing, passion back into her life.

A man who might very well be a killer.

If you like tales that are heavy in sensual Fifty Shades of Gray-style bondage; if you like thrilling, edge-of-your-seat murder mysteries, if you like dark romance, and a tale that will keep you guessing from page to page -- and most of all you like it all rolled into one explosive story -- then LETHAL OBSESSION is for you.

Here's an excerpt:

She heard a whimper as the hot sting of leather kissed her buttocks, then the whimper grew to a muffled cry with the second and third strike, and Angela realized it was her own voice she was hearing, what little voice she could form through the gag.

Her body trembled at a fourth and fifth strike. Fear and adrenaline coursed through her body, and Angela moaned. Embarrassment competed with fear, embarrassment at being naked and vulnerable, and at the realization her body was responding to his actions, that she could no longer control herself, with each lash from the belt arousal grew; fear as the realization dawned on her, not rationally but in some deep, visceral way, that she was helpless and alone, at the mercy of a stranger who clearly had painful intentions for her.

Then it all went away, replaced by the hard sensation of ice, first against her right nipple, then her left. Angela cried out at the cold, her body jerking, but the sound was muffled, and she moved little, with her arms stretched overhead, wrists bound, snugly held in place by…by what she wasn’t sure, with her vision nothing more than blackness behind a blindfold.
She turned her body away from the cold as much as she could, and Angela felt another sharp sting of leather across her buttocks.

“You will stand still.”

Again the ice, but Angela held her footing, though her body trembled in spite of her attempt at remaining perfectly still. The cold pressed against her, hard, and then she felt the ice slipping around the nipple, making larger and larger circles outward, spiraling across her breasts.

As suddenly as the ice had come, it was gone. In its place she felt his lips...kissing her right nipple, gently at first, ever so softly. A mix of sensations rolled through her body..

Sharon's worked hard all her life – teaching elementary school children most of the year, taking on summer school teaching assignments the rest of the time to earn extra money, have a chance at good vacations, a better home, other nice things.

She's finally reached some of her goals, and the first year in her new home – complete with a modest pool – she decides to take the summer off, rest a little and enjoy the fruits of her labor.

And she meets Graham. He's an 18-year-old in his last summer before college, working as many jobs as he can to save money, and one of those jobs is coming by Sharon's house three times a week to clean out and take care of her pool.

Sharon watches him when he's around, wondering what it would be to feel those young, strong arms around her, that slender, hard body over her. One day, when her kids are off to camp, she can't help herself. Sharon begins flirting with Graham, and soon enough the two are together, nude, in the pool, making wild, raw love, when Graham's friends show up – a classmate of his, and another friend a year older.

Sharon is playful with them at first, but quickly learns flirting with teen-age boys, even ones who are 18 and 19, may lead down roads she hadn't intended, and that once she gets the boys started, there's no stopping them…

Then Rachel decides to try a little flirting with Nicholas, one of the junior executives, see if she can work her way into his marketing projects, even if she has to work her way into his pants to do it. Turns out Nicholas is more than willing to trade favors – only Rachel learns he has a thing for women who are tied up, and once she's helpless, Rachel gets more than she bargained for in...

Selling Scarlett (A Love Inc. Novel) by best-selling novelists Ella James.

Here's a blurb: Elizabeth DeVille doesn't belong at a party like this--one where the gowns cost more than her Camry and cigars run higher than her grad school utility bills. Dragged out of seclusion by her best friend Suri, Elizabeth is merely playing dress-up, rubbing elbows with a crowd that banished her troubled family years ago.

Hunter West is tired. Tired of parties, tired of pretending, and tired of trying to right a wrong that haunts him every day. Bourbon heir and professional poker player by day, by night Hunter is gambling with his life in a high-stakes game of crime and blackmail.

When Elizabeth stumbles into Hunter's den of vices, she's a light in the darkness, a flame in the void. And, just like everything he touches, Hunter mars her in a record time. To rectify the damage done, Elizabeth needs money she doesn't have, and she's come up with a foolproof way to get it.

Follow Elizabeth--code-named Scarlett--to the lush Nevada brothel where she'll auction her virginity and risk the only thing that's not for sale: her heart. The highest bidder is a familiar face, with wicked hands and the devil's mouth. And a secret so dark that it could cost her life.

Elodie Rain on living in the tropics, writing erotica, and admiring Johnny Depp

Today we have Elodie Rain, visiting with us all the way from Queensland, Australia
.
Hey Elodie, thanks so much for taking the time to appear on my blog.  Let's jump right in.

You just published your first work, Overburdened, in January. I gotta say, I can't recall an erotica story that starts out with the main character dead, but you definitely pulled it off. Can you tell us a little bit about the story?

Mick is an ex-con, who feels as though his life is going nowhere. He frequents bars and has no direction until he meets Amy. She becomes his obsession and they quickly fall passionately in love. However, Amy is driven and wants more out of life, which causes problems between the two. Then life intervenes and changes everything.

Can you tell us a little bit about how this story came to you?

I love the music of Disturbed (David Draiman can sing to me any day!) and their song, Overburdened always struck a chord with me. Something about the lyrics and the emotion in his voice really inspired me.

I think this is your first erotica piece, correct? If so, can you tell us what other sorts of work you enjoy writing?

I love to write. Unfortunately, for a long time, I’ve only been able to write academically (completing my Masters) and I also write for magazines on various topics. But a friend asked me to edit her erotica writing and I became hooked.

In one of the author bios I've seen on you, Elodie, you say you enjoy writing about real people in real situations. Can you elaborate on that a little?

I have a passion for counseling and grew up in an environment where sex was very taboo and I really felt like it took me a long time to find myself in my relationship. I believe that erotic fiction allows people to have their kink normalized. If what goes on is between two consenting adults is a little left of centre, people need to know they are not alone. By using real characters, this is achievable.

Okay, let's step away from writing for a bit. Let's do some rapid fire questions. Answer the first thing that comes to mind – no cheating, no pondering, just whatever flashes in your mind first.

Favorite movie? Scott Pilgrim Vs the World

Favorite actor? Johnny Depp

Why? No matter what he plays (except for the vampire in Dark Shadows) he is exceptional.

If money were no object or concern, where would you go for a two-week vacation? Bora Bora

Again, pretending that money is of no concern, what sort of car would you own? I have no idea! Right now, for practical reasons, my dream car is a people mover!

If you could live, fulltime, anywhere in the world, were would it be? Why? Here. I love our climate, the rain, the mountains, the ocean views. People pay a fortune to visit the tropics each year, and I am lucky enough to have grown up here.

Favorite food? Homemade enchiladas

Favorite color? Green

Favorite novel? I really can’t name one! My bookshelf mostly holds classics from the Brontes, Jane Austen, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley. Then I love modern authors like Marcus Zusak, Mitch Albom and Kate Morton. In erotic fiction, I love Raw by Belle Aurora, and Charity Parkerson is also awesome!

Okay, now, back to the writerly questions. J

Is there any one moment, or one event in your life that made you decide you wanted, maybe needed, to be a writer? If not, can you tell us how you came to the realization you wanted to write?

I’ve always loved reading. I won awards for the most books read at school. But ridiculously, I almost failed junior English. Then I had an amazing teacher who showed me the power of using my own words. I’ve not stopped writing since!

Tell us, will there be more erotica work from Elodie Rain? Do you have any work, erotica or not, under way now that we can look forward to later this year?

I have quite a few pieces of writing in the works. I hope to have an anthology of short erotic stories completed in the not too distant future, and I do have some more mainstream romantic stories in the pipeline under a separate name J

Elodie, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you being here today. Now, before we go, let's share a little blurb about Overburdened, then tell folks where they can get a copy.

Overburdened is a short erotic story about Mick, who is dead and wanders the earth waiting for his judgment. He blames himself for the death of Amy, the love of his life with whom he had a passionate, but tumultuous relationship. As he wanders, he always returns to her grave and remembers...

At the moment, the story is only available on Amazon, so just click here for Overburdened.

Shapeshifting, Mistletoe and the curious obstacle to writing: a talk with author Kristin Elyon

Visiting with us today we have Kristin Elyon, the author of "Untamed Passion" and "Microphones and Mistletoe."

Hey Kristin, thanks so much for taking the time to appear on my blog. Let's jump right in.

I have to say, "Microphones and Mistletoe" looks like a fun story, and it's gotten some fabulous reviews so far, and "Untamed Passion" looks fascinating. I've not read many shapeshifter romances, but I think I'm going to have to dive into this one.

Tell us a little bit about how each of these stories came to you.

To be honest, with "Untamed Passion." It didn't go as planned at all. The voices in my head took over, I had no control with the direction of the story. Sasha wanted her story told. It changed about five times before she was finally happy with the story.

With "Microphones and Mistletoe" I knew I wanted something fun for the holidays and the inspiration came to me one night. My father is a musician, not a famous one by any means but he writes music and his friend came over one night and they were talking about this new song and then arguing about the lyrics and the idea just came to me about having two singers/songwriters fighting over something during the holidays... only my story was a lot sexier then my father and his friends. :P

What's your writing routine like – do you write at the same time of day, play music, have any sort of rituals to get you in the mood?

I NEED music. It doesn't matter what kind of music it just has to be playing. It helps me focus, to zone out the rest of the sounds, to just hear myself think. If the music isn't playing and the TV is on, or the radio. It doesn't work. The music just soothes me and puts me in that mood to really concentrate and write.

Okay, let's step away from writing for a bit. Let's do some rapid fire questions. Answer the first thing that comes to mind – no cheating, no pondering, just whatever flashes in your mind first.

Favorite movie? Lord of the Rings

Favorite actor? Ian Somerhalder

Why? Hmm Is this a why to the actor or movie? You didn't tell me so you just get both. I just adore Ian! He is such a fantastic actor and the ISF is a wonderful foundation he started to help the animals. Hello? He's hot and he wants to save the animals! There is no problem with that.

The Lord of the Rings movies have just stuck with me for some reason. Giving more thought to it, I could tell you some more movies with more logical reasoning as to why they are my faves but you said rapid fire.

If money were no object or concern, where would you go for a two-week vacation? Hawaii. I've always heard wonderful things about it. I'd take my laptop and just write and relax.

Again, pretending that money is of no concern, what sort of car would you own? I would have a driver, maybe not in a limo all the time, that might get boring but certainly once or twice. I've always wanted to have a Jaguar.

Favorite food? Chinese. Orange chicken.

Favorite color? Blue

Favorite novel? Lord of the Rings

Okay, now, back to the writerly questions. J

What is your biggest struggle in writing?

Writing. Actually writing. Sometimes writers block hits you so hard. It can be like being hit by a speeding train. It stops you for days, weeks even. Especially if you have something going on personally. You just have to write something... Doing  flash fiction (seeing a picture and writing 200 words) helps sometimes but the most important thing to do is write. Just as Dory says to just keep swimming, you have to just keep writing.

Tell us, do you have more work coming soon that we can look forward to?

Yes! It's another shifter story. The strong-willed, wounded shape shifting she-wolf has been involved with the supernatural since she lost a lover, her first mate, to a vampire. A few years later, after a near-miss with death, another vampire attack. She is catapulted into an exciting adventure with Enzo. Can she resist the exotic, tempting wolf shapeshifter who will stop at nothing to achieve his goal? His Goal: Claiming HER, his new mate.

Amber White Inspiration for her-

Kristin, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you being here today. Now, before we go, let's share a little blurb one of your stories, then tell folks where they can get a copy.

Well, my newest release is called "Untamed Passion." It's about a sexy tiger shifting male who finds his mate. The only problem is his ex and the fact that his mate doesn't know she's a shifter and it causes a ton of fun!

I have the book available on Amazon and B&N. Here is the blurb.

Sasha has spent her entire life, feeling like there was much more to life than what she’d been experiencing. Her love life was boring and her new roommate was driving her insane talking about it. However an unfortunate yet chanced incident brings Eric to her rescue.

Could he really be the man of her dreams? Will he teach her exactly how to harness her special shape shifting abilities before it is too late? In a story of love, lies and romance Sasha finds herself in the arms of a handsome shape sifting white tiger that will stop at nothing to protect her.

Flower shops, candy shops, and falling in love: An interview with two hunky men from Elodie Parkes' world

Today we feature British author Elodie Parkes, who just released two works this month.

The Flower Box, a novella released on Feb. 7 by Hot Ink Press and Candy Hearts, a Hot Ink Single released on Feb. 14.

Here's a bit about each

The Flower Box: Alice longs for love. Oliver wants to give her flowers and candy until he thinks she has another lover. Will his jealously drive him away from Alice or straight into her arms?

Candy Hearts: Tom found a new job, but can he find love?
Working in a surf coast hotel seems like the remedy for his previous unhappiness, but as Valentine’s Day approaches, Tom realizes he’s lonely, and looks around for someone to love.

***
And now we have a special treat, interviews with two of the stars of Elodie's works, Oliver and Tom, Oliver stars in The Flower Box and Tom in Candy Hearts

Oliver, tell us something about Alice, how would you describe her in a few words?

Alice is just great. She’s the love of my life so I’m biased in my opinion I guess you know. She’s brave, capable, and independent. She likes the park and water. She’s very pretty, slender, intelligent, kind, and generous, and she treats everyone and thing well. She’s great at her job and runs her own business. She’s sexy. (He grins)

Tom, describe your loved one in a few words. (Tom’s asked us not to give away her name, when you read the story you’ll know why)

Very sexy, giving, clever, thoughtful, a great lover, knows what she wants or needs to do and goes for it. She’s full of surprises, she loves me, and she works hard at her jobs. I couldn’t live without her now.

So guys tell the readers about how you met the leading ladies in your stories.

Tom: I met my love in a coffee shop. She was a waitress. On one occasion, she gave me a look that nearly melted the chair I was sitting on besides parts of me touching it. (laughs)

Oliver: I met her in person in a flower and candy shop. I’d seen her before but not close up.

Can you describe when you first knew you were in love? Oliver tell us about when you knew you loved Alice.

It might be a spoiler if I told all. I thought I’d lost her, that woke me up with a jolt. (smiles)

What about you Tom?

It was hard to let myself fall in love, I think I loved her very soon though and just pushed it away.

Is there anything you would have changed about the story, your name, job, story setting, anything?

Tom: I’ve never thought about that. I don’t mind my name and in the story I get to change jobs. I used to hate what I did so that was great. The setting goes with the job, and is a cool place, I think.
Oliver: I like my name. I love my job. It’s not what I set out to do when I went to college, but it’s great. The setting for the story wouldn’t be able to change, that’s where I work and where Alice works, and where we live, plus it’s a cool city. (smiles)

Will each of you choose an excerpt from the story that you enjoy?

Oliver: Is there a rating level on your blog? Mine has to be a love scene.

Tom: Mine too. (laughs)

Just choose what you want, and thank you both for coming along today.

Oliver: Thank you. It’s been fun.

Tom: I’ve enjoyed meeting you, so thank you.

An excerpt from Candy Hearts

She watched him closely.

Tom saw her gaze trace his mouth, then his body. The atmosphere between them charged as she broadcast attraction signals. He edged his hand along the tabletop so that he might touch hers when she reached for her water glass.

It happened as they stared at each other.

Tom’s cock hardened as the prickle of desire flew along his arm from her touch. He saw her eyes darken and she leaned into him. He took hold of her hand then, locking fingers with hers. He had to kiss her. He raised his other hand, slid it gently along her cheek, and brought her head to his.

The kiss was devastatingly sexy. His cock, rock hard now, pushed at his suit pants. Sky’s lips parted for his tongue. He kissed her, and the steady hum of the restaurant guests’ chatter receded. Surrounded by the scent of her silky hair and softness of her skin, Tom took his time. He held her head to his until he felt her try to move from the kiss, away from him. He let her end the kiss, but he tightened his grip on her hand. As he lifted his head he realized their food had arrived and the server waited by the table for them to end the kiss. He smiled and let go of her hand.

She smiled too leaning back so that the plate could be placed on the table in front of her.

As they ate little bites of their steaks, Tom again asked for her real name.

He swallowed. “I’d love to know your name. Seriously, after that kiss, I can’t keep calling you Sky.” He saw her hesitate, and then she answered.

An excerpt from The Flower Box

She pressed her neck against his face as he sucked.

He pulled her skirt up around her waist and kissed up to her ear. “I want you,” he whispered into her ear and she gasped. Oliver pushed her pantyhose down around her thighs. He kissed her lips, and felt her part them to moan as he slid his hand between her legs. She was wet and his cock jerked. His breath came in short gasps as he pushed two fingers into her pussy. The feel of her inner muscles around his fingers sent a spike of sensation through his cock. He thought he’d come right then as his hips thrust in response to her opening her legs wider for his hand. He murmured against her mouth. “You feel so good. I can’t wait to get you home.”

Alice kissed him. “Let’s go. I’m desperate for you.”

Her words made his cock leak. He wondered if he could make it to her car. He took his fingers from her pussy and lingered with his fingertips against her clit.

She held his shoulders and kissed him hard.

Oliver took his fingers from her clit and rested his face against hers. “Sorry, Alice, does anyone else use this path?”

Her voice was low as she answered against his cheek. “Not usually.”

He hugged her. “That’s good.” He moved from her

She made a little sound as he pulled her pantyhose up.

He held her face and kissed her tenderly. “Let’s go.”

Censorship, rights, and erotica publishing

Today we're joined by Molly Synthia, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite people in the world! She's an accomplished writer, a deep thinker, and one of the genuinely nicest people I know. While the Lethal Obsession Birthday Blog Blast is about having fun and, hopefully helping you find some new and exciting authors, we also have to remain aware of the constant struggle for the rights to freely publish what we want, without government censorship. Whether it's erotica or political debate, a free exchange of ideas and discussion is vital to any society. A while back Molly took on the issue of censorship and Amazon's decision to stop selling some forms of erotica. I responded on her blog, and today she picks up the discussion.

Well what a joy it is to be on your blog, Shandra! I remember when I published “The Simply Stunning Shandra Miller” on my blog.  You were a wonderful person then, and you still are.  You already know I wish you the absolute best in every endeavor, and I’m excited to take a bit of time today to discuss a little more about the whole Amazon censorship controversy. It’s the continuation of a discussion we started on my blog when I put up a post entitled, “Thoughts on Freedom of Expression.”

Primarily, I argued that while Amazon’s changes in erotica policy were arbitrary and frustrating; they weren’t censorship and ought not to be considered a violation of our rights to free expression.

To me, calling it a violation of our rights as opposed to bad business practice was to diminish real violations of our rights, when the government inhibits our ability to express ourselves.  I’ve written about Pussy Riot’s imprisonment in Russia as well as other dangerous acts governments around the world take against speech, and I pointed out that Amazon can refuse to carry one of my books but only the government could put me in jail for writing them.

Shandra, you wrote a well thought-out response in a comment, and I appreciate it. I thought we could explore it a little more together. I concluded my blog post with this:

I’m not saying we shouldn’t have anger toward Amazon policies. Hell, I’m very angry. However, I think we need to realize that when we throw around words like “free speech” and “freedom of expression” and “constitutional rights” in the context of this situation; we dilute the meaning of those phrases.  Calling Amazon’s hesitance to carry the books “censorship” and an infringement of our rights is akin to saying any publisher who rejects any manuscript is engaging in censorship. My biggest fear is that we’ll forget that the Bill of Rights was created to protect us from government and not from inconvenience.  How will we be ready if real oppression comes if we’ve been crying wolf for so long?

Shandra the Beautiful opened her comment with this:

Nicely written, Molly. You have an understanding that many people don't seem to possess, that the right to free speech from government interference is something the Bill of Rights promises, not the right to say anything we want anywhere we want. Heck, even the freedom of government interference is limited, as several Supreme Court decisions over the decades have shown.

So, you're right on there, sister.

And that’s where it got fun. Right afterward, the conversation turned to the issue of free speech when our world has what might be called “de facto” governments. In other words, companies as large as Amazon and Walmart have so much influence in our lives now that they have some power to oppress. It was an interesting point, but I think it’s still nothing to do with our rights to free speech. Amazon and Walmart can certainly keep us from expressing, that’s clear. However, that’s not the same as someone preventing us from exercising the right to free speech. I’m guaranteed the right to expression.\I’m not guaranteed the right to be heard. I have the right to knock on every door in my neighborhood to try to get my message out there. Nobody’s obligated to keep the door open so I can make my spiel. Nobody is infringing on my rights if every door slams. I’m just not being effective.

From there, Shandra the Magnificent talks about how protests have changed because our urban landscapes have changed. It’s hard to march downtown when there just aren’t any downtowns left. Since most places people congregate are on private property, protests can’t happen there either. Again, the argument isn’t that the malls are infringing upon a right so much as they’re making it impossible to exercise that right. I don’t agree. I think the days of physical protests are numbered. Ultimately, there are far more venues available that don’t involve showing up and picketing. Every organization on Earth has had to come to terms with new ways of getting a message across. Why are protestors any different? Ultimately, saying the ability to exercise the right has been infringed assumes that marching and singing “We will overcome” is the only way available to us.  It’s actually probably the least effective way now.
.
These were two well-thought out arguments, though. I disagree with both of them but I think it’s mostly semantic. We’re in agreement on the principal issues. I just don’t ever want the word “right” used in a context that doesn’t involve the government. The Bill of Rights was designed to keep us protected from tyrants, not from each other. The more expansive our ideas of our “rights” gets, the less we recognize when those rights are eroded, and as a woman who makes her living selling erotica or writing custom erotica, I can’t imagine anything more terrifying for me personally than society losing the battle to keep expression free. We already live in a world where a misspoken comment leads to scandal and resignation. Let’s not live in a world where saying something or writing something that offends someone else can land a person in jail.

Tonya Kinzer, having fun with kink!

Today I'd like to welcome Tonya Kinzer to my blog. Tonya has been a great friend, giving me tips and helpful ideas on my writing and marketing. And, she writes some scintillating erotica, stories that will stay with you after you've finished reading them. She's guest blogging today -- take a read through what she has to say about her work, then follow her buy links. If you like hot, plot-driven erotica, you'll love her work.
*****
I hope you’re here because you’re curious. The majority of my writing is along the lines of Dom/sub/BDSM so if you’re offended by that, please don’t continue reading. Why some read on if they’re offended, I don’t understand, because they are the readers who leave a one star rating on my work with nasty comments when my books are clearly marked as BDSM at the online stores.

For those of you who kept reading, I’m glad you decided to find out more. I love kinky and love
readers who love kinky. I like to push the envelope with my books. My Boss’s Pet series is more for those who are just getting into a Dom/sub relationship or thinking about it. I carefully take the reader through the scenes, introduce new scene play and what goes on in the mind of those involved. BDSM is as much a mind thing as it is a physical thing. I won’t go into all that here but I do in the books. The first book in the series is FREE and titled The Contract. I’m currently working on a rewrite of book one and will release the second edition soon.

Now, on to more fun in book FIVE, Under Her Command. I love the cover and yes, I do my own cover art. John Quinlan (the most tattooed romance cover model) and Jimmy Thomas provide us with such a variety of shots to use that I can have all kinds of fun. In books three through five, I’ve include f/f scenes because I know the guys love reading about two women loving each other. It’s also a beautiful thing that I find I enjoy writing about as well.

In book five, Sondra learns that she enjoys wielding the whip…or crop…and keeping her slaves on their toes. She also likes to make them aware of other ways their body processes pleasure and pain, whether they’re male or female. Have you ever been pursued by a member of the same sex? Sondra knows that before the book ends, she will experience another episode of that exact interest but isn’t ready to find out how she actually feels about it all once the scene is complete. So much happens in this story but please click over to my website to find out more. One doesn’t have to read the books in order to enjoy them and I also introduce a few characters from my other books. My blog has posts about the series so do check them out as there are links to places in the books.

Who wants to read an excerpt? Click this XXX-Excerpt link to check out part of the story, then grab your copies at your favorite online store. Thank you all for stopping in to learn about my newest release. I also have an erotic western series for those who love cowboys! Seven days and counting til the Big Blog Birthday Bash!

That's right, in just seven days I'm kicking off a two-week celebration of my first novel, LETHAL OBSESSION.

On Feb. 28, 2013, LETHAL OBSESSION went live, and it's been quite a year. I've had a few readers contact me, which really makes my day, and I've met some wonderful, supportive writers along the way, some that I count among my friends today.

In celebration of that publication birthday, I'm hosting a 14-day Big Blog Birthday Bash, with 14 different writers appearing on my blog, AND a chance for you to win some great prizes.

I'll give more details in a day or two, but keep watching this spot for announcements of who is participating and what prizes are being offered.

Don't miss it!

Blind Faith, A Tides Inn Erotic Trilogy now available

My first release of the year, BLIND FAITH, A Tides Inn Erotic Trilogy is now available, for just 99 cents.

The book is a collection of three stories that center around Pamela, a waitress at the exclusive Tides Inn resort, and her attraction to Brett McCoy, a frequent guest at the Inn. Pamela, who generally serves Brett (at his request) when he dines at the Inn, decides to make her desires known to him.

She wasn't prepared for his response. At first she's shocked, then confused, and finally she realized Brett, despite his confident demeanor, has issues of his own, and she wonders if he can ever experience love without control.

Here's an excerpt:

“I have requirements of you,” he whispered. “Requirements that necessitate me removing your blindfold.”
A charge ran through Pamela’s body, one of anticipation at seeing Brett, fully nude. He grabbed her arms, lifted her to her feet, then untied the blindfold, let it drop.
She looked at him – his legs were much like his upper body, slender yet muscular, and she wanted to feel those legs against her again.
He turned her around, facing away from him, and removed the gag. She worked her mouth open and shut several times.
“You must be hungry by now,” Brett said. “I know I am.”
That’s when Pamela noticed a plate of food on the desk in the corner. The plate held a handful of grapes, some slices of banana, a few pieces of chocolate broken off from a bar, crackers and cheese chunks.
“I had room service bring something up while I was waiting for you.” She felt him behind her again, his body pressed against hers. “As before, I wish for you to feed me.” Then he was gone. She turned to find him taking his place on a large chair in the corner of the room, opposite the desk which held the food.
She looked back to the food, then to him, and realized what he meant for her to do. She walked to the corner, bent over, took a piece of chocolate in her mouth, and then strolled across the room toward Brett, the chocolate protruding from her lips. She felt foolish in a way, vulnerable, naked and helpless with her hands bound behind her back, having to walk across the room in his manner, serving him. But she felt alive, as if she were finding some level of gratification she had never known.
Pamela reached Brett and stood, unsure how to proceed, then she straddled his lap, eased herself down onto his legs. Oh, I want you. Pamela wanted his hands on her, caressing, probing, playing.
She pulled the chocolate fully into her mouth, held it there while it melted, then slowly, teasingly she leaned over, pushing her chest forward, her breasts rubbing against his chest, and she saw desire and wanting in his eyes, and Pamela knew whatever he had planned, however long this feeding exercise was supposed to last, he was about to lose control again. Because of her. Despite being bound, and knowing that he could do absolutely anything to her, at that moment Pamela felt power, a raw sexual level of control over Brett, over his desires, his ability to focus.
She put her lips to his, opened her mouth and pushed the sticky, melted chocolate from her mouth into his, her saliva mixing with his, tongues entwined as he tried to take every piece of the chocolate she offered. Pamela felt herself grow dripping-wet, she even thought her heart may have skipped a beat when his hands began playing along her thighs. She pushed her tongue even deeper. He moaned, his hands moving to up to her hips.....

You can purchase BLIND FAITH for just 99 cents for your Kindle here, for your Nook here, or for any format here at Smashwords.

For a larger sample, you can get the first tale in the collection, PRIVATE DINING, for free here at Smashwords. (Soon it'll be available at other retailers for free as well).

Some hot erotica plans for 2014

Many who know me say I tend to march to the beat of a different drummer (occasionally to a drumbeat no on else seems to be able to hear). Still, sometimes, every once in a great while, I do something downright traditional.

That's what I'm doing today, writing a New Year's blog to talk a little bit about my 2014 plans. Sorta like my New Year's publishing resolutions.

Before getting into all of that, I want to take a quick glance back at 2013. Not to review what I've published, or talking about anything specific. I just want to say that while it was definitely an up and down year, I thank all of you who have been reading my work, and to some of my new author friends who have taught me so much about writing and publishing I want to say you ladies are the best!

You guys are definitely a big part of the good times I experience in 2013. For my readers, I hope I was able to give you a few hours of enjoyment while you were reading my books. I know I enjoyed writing them, and I can't tell you how thrilling it is to get notes from you all, or reviews, about the stories. I hope to give you even more this year.

And now, onward to 2014.

First, I plan on Jan. 8 to officially release PAMELA'S CHOICE, the long-awaited conclusion to the little trilogy I began with my erotica short, PRIVATE DINING and continued with the story ROOM SERVICE. Rather than release PAMELA'S CHOICE as a stand-alone short, I've combined all three of them in the collection BLIND FAITH, A TIDES INN EROTICA TRILOGY

I'll tell you a little secret though – you can get BLIND FAITH now for just 99 cents, here for your Kindle, here for your Nook, or here for any format from Smashwords. If you want a glimpse into the trilogy, you can get the first story, PRIVATE DINING, for free right here at Smashwords. It'll be up and live – and free – for your Nook sometime, though I'm patiently waiting on B&N to upload the site from Smashwords. Still waiting on Amazon to change the price to free. I'll add that information here as it becomes available.

Second, the third, and as yet untitled, final installment of the LETHAL OBSESSION trilogy will be out in March, with a tentative release date of March 4. In this one, Detective Angela Martin goes deeper into the world of bondage, BDSM, and submission than she's ever dreamed – not because she's still seeking something, but she's trying to save the man she loves. Can she return? Can she even survive?

I'll also have another tale coming out in late April that will take a look at what happens to a couple who take their fantasy life a little too far, kidnapping a woman to make their own slave, and what can happen when they target the wrong person…

Beyond that? I've already got a few stories in the works, perhaps a couple of more traditional thrillers that aren't so overtly erotica, and maybe even a little horror and erotica mixed together as we near October.

We'll have to see.

But for now, I have a busy, busy first few months planned, so I'm going to get busy writing!

I hope you have a great, wonderful 2014 and that all your fantasies come true this year!

Thanks for stopping by.

xoxo
